Palazzo Bonaguro
Bassano del grappa
One of the four civic museums of Bassano, it is a historic building of the fifteenth century, located near the Ponte Vecchio in the "Angarano" district. The building of the Venetian Veggia family until the early seventeenth century was subsequently owned from the seventeenth to the twentieth century: by the Querini, the Correr, the Albertoni and the Giaconi Bonaguro families. Building with an imposing and symmetrical structure, inside it offers large central superimposed halls, connected with stairs and surrounded by circuits of rooms. Since 1969 it has been owned by the Municipality of Bassano and is used for exhibitions or other cultural events. It currently houses the naturalistic section of the Civic Museum which preserves ancient and recent collections of natural history.
